IQ Homeopathy is based on a simple idea: that intelligent healing should be available to everyone – not obscured by confusing language, scattered references, or strict gatekeeping.

Homeopathy has a strong traditional base, but we also believe it should be presented in a contemporary way: clear, structured, searchable, and respectful of today’s world — considerate of different backgrounds, beliefs, and levels of experience.

Our story

IQ Homeopathy was founded by Issa Qandil out of a practical need: to create a place where homeopathic knowledge is organised in a way that feels usable – not only beautiful on paper.

Like many dedicated students of Materia Medica, Issa repeatedly encountered the same issue: the information is often excellent, but it is fragmented, inconsistently structured, and hard to compare across authors when trying to learn properly or analyse a case in real life.

IQ Homeopathy began as a solution to that issue. Over time, it developed into two interconnected parts: a structured Materia Medica and a global directory – because knowledge matters, but so does finding real support.

Our mission

To help homeopathy progress in a way that is modern, respectful, and grounded—while remaining loyal to what makes it valuable.

We aim to make homeopathy:

• more trustworthy: traceable sources, careful referencing, transparent scope
• more useful in real life: practical organisation, comparison, and learning support
• more inclusive: welcoming to all people, all backgrounds, and all stages of learning

The IQ Materia Medica

The IQ Materia Medica is not an effort to “create a new homeopathy” or to reinvent anything.

It is a structured collection of remedy knowledge drawn from multiple reliable sources, with a strong focus on classical literature and supported where appropriate by other reputable materials. Depending on the remedy and what is available, this includes:

• Classical Materia Medica authors and texts
• Provings and proving records
• Reputable modern Materia Medica books
• Articles and clinical observations (where relevant and responsible)

The intention is simple: to bring trustworthy material together, organise it consistently, and present it in a way that helps people move from “reading” to understanding.

Citations and referencing

Wherever possible, remedy pages include citations to show which author informed which symptom, modality, relationship, or clinical observation.

This is deliberate. Homeopathy depends on traceability. When information is clear and referenced, it becomes easier to study, compare, and learn from – and harder for misinformation to spread.

A living project

The IQ Materia Medica is a work in progress.

Issa is building this library while continuing to study and refine the structure, which means you may notice that earlier remedies are written and organised differently from later ones. As the project evolves, newer entries reflect clearer formatting, stronger cross-referencing, and more consistent organisation.

This is part of the point: IQ Homeopathy is a living library, not a static book. It improves as understanding deepens.

The Homeopathic Directory

The directory exists for a very human reason: sometimes the next step is not reading more – it is finding the right help.

IQ Homeopathy includes a global directory of:

Some directory information may be created or updated by listing owners and may change over time, so it should be understood as informational rather than a clinical endorsement.
